We are pleased to announce the creation of a new “War Dictionary” designed as a tool to support the defenders of Ukraine. This project aims to facilitate daily communication and understanding during the difficult times of war.
In the context of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, it is often a challenge to effectively communicate between different groups and to ensure that important messages are quickly and accurately understood. This dictionary focuses on overcoming language and cultural barriers and provides not only explanations of common military and humanitarian terms but also specific phrases and expressions that appear in the context of the ongoing conflict.
The “War Dictionary” contains over 700 definitions and translations of military terms and phrases in Russian, Ukrainian, and English. It is freely accessible online on the Prague Support Team website and can also be downloaded as a PDF.
“We are proud to contribute to an important cause and hope that our dictionary will help improve communication and understanding among soldiers, volunteers, medics, and journalists in Ukraine during these difficult times.”
Work is currently underway to create a mobile application that will allow easy access to the dictionary directly from mobile devices. This app will soon be available and will provide users with convenient and instant access to the necessary information.
